Well that's it from the Met - unless of course I go back again before I leave NYC and discover a new gallery or three !!!
My only disappointment with the Met - and with all galleries that I have visited so far - is that I can find nothing from Australia - ancient Indigenous through to contemporary - nothing. Lots from New Guinea and pacific Islands, but not a hair from Oz. And considering the wonderful art that Australians have produced over the past 40,000 years, I find that a great shame.
But I forgive her and still love her dearly - this extraordinary museum of mankind.
Don't know where I'll take you tomorrow - maybe to the top of something tall !!! ... do please check in though. In Just a couple of weeks I have had over 1000 hits to this blog - so I do thank all my readers for following me on my wild adventure.
