Currently on show at Gatakers Artspace in Maryborough ( Queensland - Australia ) is my exhibition of 'rescued assemblage' artworks.
This creative hub was once robust warehouses for the bustling river port of Maryborough. The warehouses are among the oldest in Maryborough and have been sensitively restored to preserve the historic value of the buildings, while creating a contemporary exhibition space.

These works are themed on chambers hidden behind closed doors – when the doors are opened by the viewer, the mysterious and complicated story is revealed …
All the materials used have had a previous life – have been discarded, rescued and re-worked into a ‘ not necessarily ‘ recognizable format.
