281. The Venice Biennale #2

... and wait - there's more ...

Continuing on with my visit to the Venice Biennale Arte exposition, and still in the Giardini park - I take you inside Central Pavilion, where over forty exhibition spaces have been curated by individual artists from around the globe. Here are just a few ...and again, my apologies for not listing the names etc of the artists ...

entrance to the Giardini

Central Pavilion

Workshop space ...

... and then onto the huge Arsenale exhibition space ...
for more national exhibitions plus individual artists

... there was just much more in both the pavilions ...
I have shown you but a fraction ...

In addition to the art in the two major sites, there are sculptures set up in all the municipal parks - some good and some mmmmmm - and dotted throughout the city are countless interesting "pop-up" galleries and open studios ... and I'm not even talking about what's on at the major galleries - or about the theatre, dance and music shows ... IT'S HUGE ...

Damien Hirst ... more on him in another blog ...

... and then there is the star attraction on the Grand Canal ...
